The Spirit's inspiration came to me this morning through the book The Grace Outpouring by Roy Godwin and Dave Roberts. The book starts with stories of how prayers of blessings changed people and communities to where God's grace touched lives and livelihoods. I want that for my city, don't you?
I'm convinced that blessings change us, the pray-ers, AND those for whom we pray. Blessings improve us all for the better, refining us in our love for the unlovable. Blessings allow us to become like our Lord and Savior and give us the opportunity to have His heart of compassion and mercy for where we have none. It's our opportunity to grow!
So here are some samples take from inspiration from the aforementioned book and the Holy Spirit's guidance. Let them be a spring board for your prayers.
Don't forget to watch for God's hand to move on these prayer requests in the days to come!
