Prayer for Leaders in Our Government

1/7/2021

Prayer by Carol Ann Kononova of prayingscriptures.com

Praying for government is a duty of the people of God.  Government is not politics; government is to be influenced by God's people to keep His standards, morals and rules so we can have freedom and peace in our lives.  If we don't stand for bringing heaven to earth, we have invited the enemy to rule.

A BIBLICAL PRAYER FOR THE GOVERNMENT
1 Tim 2:1 Heavenly Father I give thanks for our government.
1 Tim 2:2 I pray for all men and women having authority over us in any way.
Prov 1:23 Pour out your Spirit upon them and make Your Word known to them.
Ps 25:21 Cause them to be men and women of integrity, obedient concerning us,
1 Tim 2:2 that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life, in all godliness and honesty.
Prov 2:10 Let wisdom enter their hearts, and let knowledge be pleasant to them.
Prov 2.11 Let discretion preserve them and understanding keep them,
Prov 2:12 to deliver them from the way of evil and from evil men.
Ps 1:1 Make their hearts and ears attentive to godly counsel,
2 Chr 20:32 doing what is right in your sight.
Prov. 2:21 Let the upright dwell in our government.
Heb 12:27 Cause there to be a shaking in all areas.
Prov 2:21 Let those complete and blameless before you stay
Prov 2:22 and cut off the wicked. Let the unfaithful be rooted out.
1 Cor 4:5 Bring to light what is hidden in darkness,
1 Cor 4:5 and expose the secret aims of their hearts.
Rev 2:5 Let this nation remember from where we have fallen,
Rev 2:5 repenting, and returning to doing our first works,
1 Chr 22:19 setting our hearts and souls to seek the Lord,
2 Chr 7:14 humbling ourselves, praying, and turning from our wicked ways.
2 Chr 7:14 Then hear us, O Lord, and forgive our sins and heal our land.
Acts 26:18 Open our eyes and turn us from darkness to light.
Heb 3:13 Soften the hearts that are hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
Ps 107:20 Deliver them from their destructions.
2Pet 3:9 Father, you have been long-suffering towards us,
2 Pet 3:9 not willing that any should perish,
2 Pet 3:9 but that all should come to repentance.
Isa 49:22 Raise up a standard in this nation.
Zech 10:1 Cause the rains of Your Spirit to flood this land
Hab 3:2 and revive Your work in the midst of us.
Isa 59:16 Raise up intercessors for this nation
2 Cor 10:4 to pull down strongholds over this land.
Isa 40:5 And let the glory of the Lord be revealed!

SCriptures for The Times

12/17/2020

Psalm 20:7  "some trust in chariots and and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God."

Psalm 125:3  "The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land give to the righteous...."

Proverbs 22:8
"He who sows injustice will reap disaster, and the rod of his fury will be destroyed."

Isaiah 14:5  "The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers."

Psalm 9: 19-20  Arise, O Lord!  Do not let mere mortals defy you!  Judge the nations!  Make them tremble in fear, O Lord.  Let the nations know they are merely human."

Psalm 68: 1-2  "God shall arise, His enemies shall be scattered; and those who hate Him shall flee before Him!  As smoke is driven away, so You shall drive them away; as wax melts before fire, so the wicked shall perish before God!"

Psalm 2: 1-6, 10-12 "Why are the nations so angry?  Why do they waste their time with futile plans?  The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the Lord and against His anointed one.  "Let us break their chains," they cry, "and free ourselves from slavery to God.

But the one who rules in heaven laughs  The Lord scoffs at them.  Then in anger He rebukes them, terrifying them with His fierce fury.  For the Lord declares, "I have placed My chosen king on the throne in Jerusalem, on My holy mountain.

Now then you kings, act wisely!  Be warned, you rulers of the earth! Serve the Lord with reverent fear, and rejoice with trembling.  Submit to God's royal son, or He will become angry and you will be destroyed in the midst of all you activities, for His anger flares up in an instant.

But what joy for all who take refuge in Him!"

______________________________________________________________________________
Dear City Intercessor,

We have battled COVID for most of 2020. We have battled for our nation for the last four years and more. We have battled for this election for months. And many of us are battle weary. But this message will change your life if you will grab hold of it. This is a word to encourage you first. This week's prayer is at the end.

FROM KIM:
With fierce determination, my seven-year-old granddaughter declared, “I am done with this Nana, I am done!”

Her unexpected announcement was resolute. That same determination is where we need to be right now with COVID, election fraud and the lies we are fed daily. We are battered by this unending cycle that never seems to stop, just as my granddaughter was after an invasive dental procedure that caused a great deal of bleeding. Her determined response, needs to be ours.

Hours had passed since the surgery and her stomach was growling. But because of the constant flow of blood, she refused to eat. Tears streamed down her little face, as I tried to entice her with soft food. She shook her head and pointed at the gauze in her mouth. The bleeding had been excessive. The dentist warned that it would continue through the night, most likely leaving blood on her pillow.
Brailee hates blood.

I’m not sure what happened, but after I had prepared some mashed potatoes in one more attempt to get something in her stomach, she walked over to me, looked me right in the eye and said, “I am done with this!” She then removed the gauze from her mouth and tossed it in the garbage. She went on to say, “Nana, I am done with the bleeding. It’s done.”
Stunned, her mother and I watched as she then ate three bowls of mashed potatoes. Once finished, I handed her a new piece of gauze to which she replied, “No, I said I am done with it.”

My mind wanted to argue, “But the dentist said…” However, I refused to open my mouth, instead, I linked my faith with hers.

The miracle is that after her declaration, not one more drop of blood came from that procedure. Not one! Not that night, not the next morning. When she said she was done, she was done.

Genesis 27:40 declares, “But when you decide to break free, you will shake his yoke from your neck.”

This is what I saw that day. The faith of a child which broke the yoke off her little neck.

Jesus said in Matthew 18:3; I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless you repent that is, change your inner self—your old way of thinking, live changed lives and become like children, trusting, humble, and forgiving, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. (Amplified Bible)

When it comes to this trying season we have all endured with COVID, the election results, financial challenges from the shut down or disruption with our kid’s education, how do we combat it? We must change our inner self--our way of thinking.

If we are to enter the kingdom way of living, we must throw out our old way of thinking and become like children, like my granddaughter, Brailee, to trust, humble, and respond fully persuaded of what the Word of God says. Then we must up our minds that it’s done, fully convinced that what He has promised He will perform. We can break off that yoke and see the same results Brailee saw.
If we are going to see an end to COVID-19, fraud and deceit in our government, and unlawful mandates, we must change our way of thinking. And we must once, and for all, remove this yoke from our neck.

Only we can do it for ourselves.

I could not make that decision for Brailee, she had to make it for herself. However, I could lock arms with her and stand in faith with her.

In Matthew 16, upon hearing Jesus talk about his death, Peter rebuked Him. Jesus turned to Peter and said, “Get thee behind me Satan, you are an offense to me, you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of man” (v22-23).

When we repeat news from the media, or the virus, we come in agreement with it. There is power in agreement. If you have done that, I encourage you to repent and renounce your agreement with the lies and break that yoke off your neck. We must have the faith of a child and say, “WE ARE DONE WITH THIS! WE ARE DONE!”

If you are ready to take that step, truly determined to break off the yoke, then join me in prayer as we declare,

“COVID-19, leave our land in Jesus name! Justice come forth NOW! Deaths from this virus and the effects of it, cease now in Jesus’ name! Evil be exposed now! We are done with you! And justice come forth.”

Brailee’s faith that day, and the outcome of it, convicts me to this day. Jesus said, “And a little child shall lead them.” As we come to the end of 2020, I am led to a steady determination that we are done with this. How about you?

It’s time for us to take a firm, faith stand. We are done. If you can’t agree with this, please keep silent. We have a battle to end.

WEEK 20 PRAYER -

Father, Your Word says in Genesis 27, when we grow restless we will remove the yoke of the enemy from our neck. Today, we come into agreement with Your Word and remove every yoke from our neck.

We command the yoke of COVID-19 to be removed from our lives, our cities and our nation. COVID YOU MUST GO. WE ARE DONE WITH YOU TODAY. Leave now in Jesus’ name.
Where illegalities have taken place, may they not only be exposed, but justice come! We say to injustice, WE ARE DONE WITH YOU! Justice come forth in Jesus’ name.

Where election fraud and hidden agendas have taken place we declare to fraud and evil in our governmental offices, WE ARE DONE WITH YOU! Be removed now in Jesus’ name.

Today, Father, we declare IN FAITH, we are done! It is finished! And we stand firm. We will not agree with any evil or enemy. We only agree with what YOU have said. You said if we resist the enemy, he must flee. So we resist this virus, this injustice and this fraud. It MUST NOW FLEE in Jesus’ name.

If we cannot speak Your Word, we will keep silent. We will give no place to the devil from this day forth.

Genesis 27:40, James 4:7, Ephesians 4

Prayers for This Season by Wanda Alger

12/7/2020

Excerpt from "A Whistleblower Dream and and a Vision of a Body Builder"  Posted 12/7/20

Let’s pray that the fear of the Lord and the weight of their sins would compel these truth-tellers to come forth.

Pray that the anguish of their own soul would outweigh any threats or intimidation from their handlers.

Pray that as criminal activity is exposed, it pulls the cover off the puppet masters behind the scenes and their strings would be cut.“Who rises up for me against the wicked? Who stands up for me against evildoers? If the LORD had not been my help, my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence.” (Psalms 94:16-17)

"God's Plans for America Will Not Be Overthrown!"

12/7/2020

Excerpt from ElijahList's post on November 13, 2020 from Dutch Sheets, Batesburg-Leesville, SC

Give Him 15 Minutes in Prayer:
• Say, "How dare those with a godless, humanistic plan for America enact a rebellion against God and this nation? Their foolish plots are futile! Look at how the power brokers of the world rise up as rulers and scheme and confer together against Yahweh and His Anointed. ALL of your plans will be exposed and brought to justice!"
• Command every hidden scheme intended to enact a coup against the United States of America to be revealed! We want all the details to get in the light—what was done, how, and by whom.
• Decree, "The iron rod of Christ's authority will smash all of Hell's rebellious plots against us, even those not yet carried out!"
• Pray that all those without Christ that are conspiring against us will now see Jesus and will fall on their faces in awe and repentance. May they acknowledge His greatness before it is too late. (Photo via pixy.org)
• Declare, "God's eternal covenant and purpose for America are secure."

A Prayer You Can Pray:
Father, look on the rebellious ones attempting to cancel Your covenant with America. They want a godless, humanistic plan for America and have enacted a rebellion against the United States of America. Look at how the power brokers of the world rise up as rulers, and scheme and confer together against You and Your Anointed. They have made a huge mistake! They have plotted against You! We say their foolish plots are futile! ALL of their plans will be exposed and brought to justice!
We release the strategies of Psalm 2 and say, "The strategies of Hell will be crushed with the scepter and the authority of the King of kings and Lord of lords." We declare that all demonic entities that have been in the process of being uprooted will be fully dealt with now. Out with you!
Lord, it is a terrible thing to be confronted by You, the Living God. The brightness of Your glory exposes all the darkness in us and we are undone. Reveal Yourself to these enemies of America. May they fall on their faces in brokenness and humble repentance. Nevertheless, we ask for justice for what they have done. They have put America through so much turmoil, violence, threats, and upheaval. As these wicked ones and their plans are fully exposed, we declare in Jesus' name, "God's eternal covenant and purpose for America is secure!" Amen.

Today's decree:
Christ's rod of authority is falling against the coup against America. It will be fully exposed to the Light! Justice will come and America will be saved!

  2. That godly, patriotic lawyers, investigators and advisors across the country will rise up to prosecute the many local and state election fraud cases that are about to emerge.
  3. That judges across the country as well as the Supreme Court will fairly adjudicate based solely upon the evidence, truth, US Constitution and our established body of law.
  4. That a deep and thorough cleansing of our government – including, but not limited to – our political, legal, law enforcement, educational, military, economic, national security, bureaucratic and judicial systems will result from this process.
  5. That those who are guilty will be found guilty.
  6. That those found guilty will pay a fair, just and constitutional penalty for their crimes in order that our republic may preserved and that future law breakers would think twice about repeating their mistakes.
  7. That the lawyers, investigators, politicians, informants, judges, reporters and anyone else pursuing truth and justice in this matter would be granted supernatural courage, wisdom, discernment, guidance and energy, and that they and their families would be surrounded with hedges of divine protection.
  8. That those defrauded in the election would be vindicated, and awarded whatever seat is rightfully theirs.
  9. That the national and global powers (whether they be private individuals, personalities, politicians, academics, foundations, media outlets, social media platforms, financial institutions, corporations, governments, etc.) that have conspired to develop, fund, conceal, deceive, perpetrate or enable this fraud would be exposed for who and what they are, and that they would be publicly discredited, bankrupted, sentenced and removed from the playing field.
  10. That the Holy Spirit would convict and break the heart of every single person who had anything to do with this corruption, and that they would genuinely confess, repent and turn to the only one qualified to fully forgive, cleanse and redeem.
  11. That the forces (physical and spiritual) that would seek to cause division, anarchy and destruction would be quelled, and that lives and property would be spared.
  12. That the Church would continue in prayer with an attitude of humility, grace, and thankfulness, forsaking vindictiveness, arrogance and pride.
That a massive movement of the Holy Spirit would sweep across our Church, our country and the entire world.

Praying for righteousness

11/15/2020

Book of Wisdom, Chapter 1
Exhortation to Righteousness, the Key to Life

1Love righteousness, you who judge the earth; think of the LORD in goodness, and seek him in integrity of heart;

2Because he is found by those who do not test him, and manifests himself to those who do not disbelieve him.

3For perverse counsels separate people from God, and his power, put to the proof, rebukes the foolhardy;

4Because into a soul that plots evil wisdom does not enter, nor does she dwell in a body under debt of sin.

5For the holy spirit of discipline flees deceit and withdraws from senseless counsels and is rebuked when unrighteousness occurs.

6For wisdom is a kindly spirit, yet she does not acquit blasphemous lips;  Because God is the witness of the inmost self and the sure observer of the heart and the listener to the tongue.

7For the spirit of the LORD fills the world, is all-embracing, and knows whatever is said.

8Therefore those who utter wicked things will not go unnoticed, nor will chastising condemnation pass them by.

9For the devices of the wicked shall be scrutinized, and the sound of their words shall reach the LORD, for the chastisement of their transgressions;

10Because a jealous ear hearkens to everything, and discordant grumblings are not secret.

11Therefore guard against profitless grumbling, and from calumny withhold your tongues; For a stealthy utterance will not go unpunished, and a lying mouth destroys the soul.

12Do not court death by your erring way of life, nor draw to yourselves destruction by the works of your hands.

13Because God did not make death, nor does he rejoice in the destruction of the living.

14For he fashioned all things that they might have being, and the creatures of the world are wholesome; There is not a destructive drug among them or any domain of Hades on earth,

15For righteousness is undying. The Wicked Reject Immortality and Righteousness Alike

16It was the wicked who with hands and words invited death, considered it a friend, and pined for it, and made a covenant with it, Because they deserve to be allied with it.

Praying for Post election and cultural issues

11/12/2020

Prayer Topics:

1) Pray that we will "pass the test".  Trying times, the waiting, things are unsure, the vexation and hopeless that tries to over run us...are all trials to see if we will keep our eyes on the Lord!  Pray for those who do not know the Lord and do not have coping mechanisms. James 1:3 – You know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.

2) Post Election Issues:
a. Every legal vote to be counted. "A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight. When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom. The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them." Proverbs 11: 3

b. Insight and discernment for those uncovering voter fraud.
"And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ."Philippians 1:9–10

c. Protection for those coming forward with the testimony of fraud.
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. "All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all." Isaiah 41: 10-12

"The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.  Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing." Psalm 34: 7-9

d. A Supreme Court decision that would allow full investigation of voting processes in Pennsylvania to root out fraud and incompetent systems.

Lord, we pray that You would expose all that has been done in secret and bring it into the light!  We pray that there would be a hunger and thirst for righteousness (integrity, virtue, purity of life, rightness, correctness of thinking, feeling and acting).  We pray that NONE of us would be settled with a falsified outcome, but that we would instead pursue and pray for truth to be revealed!  We pray for a nation that desires an election process that will be enveloped in integrity – that this present election would be exposed to the light, and that Americans will be able to trust that EACH voice counts.  THAT is why we vote – and Lord, we pray that You would help this nation transform our democratic process to be one that is true. From IFA https://ifapray.org/blog/we-must-contend-for-one-nation-under-god/ifapray.org/blog/we-must-contend-for-one-nation-under-god/https://ifapray.org/blog/we-must-contend-for-one-nation-under-god/

3)  Cocaine, meth and marjiuana, in small amounts being legalized in several states.
From The FamilyFoundation of Virginia on Nov. 11, 2020: "voters made Oregon the first state to decriminalize the possession of small amounts of street drugs such as cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine.' "Voters in the District of Columbia also decided to decriminalize pyschedelic mushrooms."

4) Declare:  We are one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all!

5) Protests scheduled for D.C. on Sunday November 15.  Report from Capital Hill Prayer Partners blog on 11/12 as quoted below: "WTOP News Radio here in Washington, D.C. is reporting that hundreds of protestors will converge on the city this weekend to demand that President Trump concedes the election.
Meanwhile, about the same number of demonstrators are also set to descend upon the city, demanding that Joe Biden will stand down.
The report indicated that, in addition, numerous local and federal authorities are monitoring this situation and will have their own "police force" in place to quell any anticipated violence. At the same time, many of the streets in the city, near the White House, will be shut down, so traffic will be a mess, too"

A prayer guide to establish kingdom principles in government by wanda alger

EXECUTING JUSTICE THROUGH PRAYER A prayer guide for establishing kingdom principles in government (By Wanda Alger – wandaalger.me)

So, justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter. (Isaiah 59:14 NIV). In a day when righteous decrees and godly judgments need to be established and upheld in the land, intercessors can pave the way for change by praying these timeless scriptural principles and truths. Pray for these principles to be known as powerful deterrents to evil and essential tools for demonstrating God’s kingdom on the earth. (All Scripture passages are taken from the New International Version unless otherwise noted.)

PRINCIPLES FOR EXECUTING JUSTICE:

Establish righteous judges.
- Choose some wise, understanding, and respected men from each of your tribes, and I will set them over you (Deuteronomy 1:13).
- Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow (Isaiah 1:17).

•Pray that God would raise up godly men and women who can serve as judges.
•Pray that those already appointed would exhibit godly wisdom, understanding, and respect, and that favor would rest on those who do.

Rule with the fear of the Lord.
- He appointed judges in the land, in each of the fortified cities of Judah. He told them, “Consider carefully what you do, because you are not judging for mere mortals but for the Lord, who is with you whenever you give a verdict. Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery” (2 Chronicles 19:5-7).
- Do not pervert justice or show partiality. Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the innocent. Follow justice and justice alone, so that you may live and possess the land the Lord your God is giving you (Deuteronomy 16:19-20).

•Pray that the fear of the Lord would come upon public officials so that their decisions would demonstrate justice for all without partiality.
•Pray that those serving in elected positions would avoid taking bribes, recognizing patterns of manipulation or flattery to garner favor.

Overturn evil and subdue terror.
- When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers (Proverbs 21:15).
- You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted; You encourage them, and You listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, so that mere earthly mortals will never again strike terror (Psalm 10:17-18).

•Pray that true justice will overrule the evildoer and nullify the terrorist. (See Amos 5:15)
•Pray for fair trials and hearings that will bring justice to the oppressed and freedom to the captives. (See Psalm 37:32-34)

Stand for truth and integrity.
- Do not spread false reports. Do not help a guilty person by being a malicious witness. Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd, and do not show favoritism to a poor person in a lawsuit (Exodus 23:1-2).
- Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom (James 2:12).

•Pray for integrity in reporting cases and causes, and for those who testify, to do so with honesty, uprightness, and verified facts. (See Deuteronomy 1:16-17)
•Pray that truth and righteous judgments would be spoken of in the spirit of life and liberty, knowing that God’s judgments always bring hope and blessing.

Bring to justice those who oppose the law of the land and the Word of Truth.
- Whoever says to the guilty, “You are innocent,” will be cursed by peoples and denounced by nations. But it will go well with those who convict the guilty, and rich blessing will come on them (Proverbs 24:24).
- Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless (Isaiah 10:1-2).

•Pray that those who have been responsible for unjust decrees and judgments would be brought to account and those guilty would receive righteous judgment.
•Pray for ungodly counsel to be dismissed and overruled, and for righteous wisdom to be favored and celebrated. (See Proverbs 28:5, Isaiah 61:8, and 59:17-19)

Rule with fairness for all people.
- If you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers (James 2:7).
-Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right” (Acts 10:34).

• Pray that God’s compassion and equal care would be extended to all under the law. (See Philippians 1:9)
• Pray that the fear of the Lord and God’s compassion would rightly discern each heart so that honest and impartial decisions can be rendered. (See James 3:17-18)

POLLING PLACES PRAYER–
THE LORD’S STRATEGY FOR ELECTION 2020

September 24, 2020 | Karen Hardin, IFA Contributing Writer

Prayers are excerpted from the above article:
What do we pray over the polling sites?

  1. For peace and safety for all who come to vote with no intimidation or threats to voters.
  2. That the in-person voting process will not be hindered, threatened, or closed down.
  3. For enough volunteers to man every polling place so that each is able to be open on Election Day.
  4. That there will be no malfunctioning of voting machines which have in the past changed the intended vote of the voter.
  5. That any corruption or theft of votes, whether in-person or mail-in, will be exposed quickly and stopped.

One Watch Prayer Guide - 40 Days to the 2020 Elections

40 Days of Praying in Unity for the Nation -
September 25 through Election Day, November 3

“Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.”
(Philippians 2:2; NASB)
When we look around America today, we know that we are in a crisis; we’ve reached a tipping point. In the last election, many Christians got out and voted; however, many spiritual leaders across this nation have been saying one thing: "We're concerned the church has gone back to sleep." I know some of you have a similar concern in your heart.
Our national elections are coming up. The Christian turnout for these elections will reveal whether we are truly going to be able to turn the nation and fully establish cords of righteousness, or if we're going to slide backward.
I want to encourage you. If you believe that abortion is sin, and if you believe that the blood of more than 60,000,000 aborted babies is crying out from the ground of the United States, would you get out and vote? If you believe that human trafficking, sex trafficking, and child exploitation must be abolished, and that we could do it in our generation, would you get out and vote? If you knew the racial divide could be healed a little deeper, would you pray, and would you vote?
I'm asking you to do both—pray and vote. Pray and act. I'm asking you to join us, as we prayer walk America, as we cry out for the nation. We know that God wants to do extraordinary things through our prayers. If we will pray, God will act.
We have developed this very important website called “Pray in Unity.” Here, you can sign up to adopt your block in prayer. You will also find daily devotions covering all kinds of topics related to the future of a nation that acknowledges God. You can find the Full 40-Day National Prayer Guide here.

It's a 40-day season, beginning September 25 and continuing through Election Day, November 3. You will be praying in unity with thousands of other intercessors from across America. We will be saying as one, "We are asking God to come and hover over America, birthing His purposes in our generation."

Would you join us? Watch with us and Pray in Unity. We'd love for you to participate. Let's turn the tide!

For the future of our nation,
Cindy Jacobs

Praying for No Mail-In voter Fraud

9/10/2020

Adapted Prayers from http://city-by-city.org/

No to Mail-In Voter Fraud

Father, Your word says, many are the plans in a person’s mind, but only the Lord's purpose will be carried out. We declare this day that mail-in voting will not stand or usurp the integrity of the voting process. The Lord’s purpose for this nation and this election is the ONLY purpose that will stand.

We say, nothing will be hidden, but that every evil, deceitful plan will come to light, now at this time.

Your Word says what we forbid on earth has been already forbidden in heaven. Therefore, we   forbid every plan for  mail-in voting and voter fraud that would attempt to change the true vote or outcome of this election. We say it will not stand. We declare that the door THIS DAY to mail-in voting fraud is closed, in Jesus' name.

Proverbs 11:1 says, “The Lord detests the use of dishonest scales, but He delights in accurate weights.” Lord, we know Your plan for this upcoming election is for honest voting and accurate counts Therefore in agreement with Your Word, we declare that there will be no voter fraud and demand an honest election where only true votes will be counted and counted accurately. One vote per person per legal registered voter.

Your Word says, You command the angels charge over us. So we ask You to assign angels to every voting facility, to maintain integrity and honesty in this election. We declare those warring angels will enforce honest and accurate accounts of every single vote. We also pray that they will remove every single fraudulent vote before it is ever counted. Let it blow away in the wind.

The Bible says, if God is with us, who can be against us. We declare today, God, You are with us! You are in this election and You are watching over Your Word to perform it. We further declare JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL and the morally upright will be vindicated this year, in this election, in Jesus’ name as we declare in unity… NO MAIL-IN VOTING! NO ELECTION OR VOTER FRAUD!

How to Pray for the Upcoming Election  By Dave Butts
Praying for Our Nation, the Elections, and the Church

The following prayer points cover seven major areas that relate to our national elections.
1. Our Nation and the Issues It Faces
  • Pray for our judicial system and lawmakers—that justice for all, tempered by mercy and compassion, will guide our nation. "This is what the Lord Almighty said: 'Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another'" (Zech. 7:9).
  • Repent on behalf of our nation, because we have turned from making Scripture the basis of law, leaving behind wisdom and instead, looking to ourselves for truth. "We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all" (Isa. 53:6).
  • Ask the Lord to pour out a spirit of repentance on our nation, that we might become a nation committed to following His ways. "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart" (Jer. 29:13).
  • Pray that the United States will repent of its corporate rejection of the Word of God as the basis of law. "How long will you who are simple love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge? Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings" (Prov. 1:22–23).
  • Pray that a holy fear of God will sweep across our nation, leading us back to a place of wisdom and walking in the Lord. "Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the word of his servant? Let the one who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the Lord and rely on their God" (Isa. 50:10).
2. The Election Process
  • Pray for wisdom for voters and a safe and fair election. "My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion; they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble" (Prov. 3:21–23).
  • Ask the Lord to remove those who might try to unjustly and illegally change the outcome of the voting. "I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plumb line; hail will sweep away your refuge, the lie, and water will overflow your hiding place" (Isa. 28:17).
  • Pray for a huge turnout of voters who use wisdom in their decisions. "Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you" (Prov. 4:5–6).
  • Pray for protection from any attacks from enemies that would prevent or delay the election. "Do not be afraid of them; the Lord your God himself will fight for you" (Deut. 3:22).
3. Candidates and Leaders
  • Pray for the salvation of those who are in leadership of our nation. Ask the Lord to remove all envy and selfish ambition. "For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice" (James 3:16).
  • Pray that candidates will take brave stands for righteousness, even when it may not be well received. "If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all" (Isa. 7:9).
  • Pray that their families will be protected from harm and unnecessary scrutiny. "You, Lord, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked, who freely strut about when what is vile is honored by the human race" (Ps. 12:7–8).
  • Ask the Lord to surround them with godly advisors. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise" (Ps. 111:10).
  • Pray that each candidate will focus on the issues we face as a nation—and not on personal attacks on other candidates. "If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other" (Gal. 5:15).
4. The Church
  • Pray for a spirit of humility in the Church and an outreach toward those whom the Bible calls the least among us. "The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me'" (Matt. 25:40).
  • Pray that the churches in your community and area will preach the gospel of Christ powerfully. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile" (Rom. 1:16).
  • Thank the Lord for the freedom we have in Him and for the wisdom to understand that freedom. "You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love" (Gal. 5:13).
  • Pray for a spirit of consecration and holiness to come upon the Church in America. "But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do" (1 Peter 1:15).
  • Pray for a spirit of compassion to come over the Church in this nation so that we will begin seriously to live out the lifestyle of Jesus in our communities. "Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others" (Phil. 2:1–4).
  • Ask the Lord to help strengthen the trumpet call to intensive prayer, so that it is heard throughout the Church in the United States. "Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing" (1 Tim. 2:8).
  • Ask the Lord to equip the Church to rise up with a strong prophetic voice for America. "Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel" (Eph. 6:19).
  • Pray for a spirit of repentance to fall upon the Church in America that would cause believers to turn back to God and seek Him. "God looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God" (Ps. 53:2).
  • Pray for a spirit of courage to rise up within the Church, a commitment to enduring whatever it takes to see the fulfillment of God's purposes in our nation. "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong" (1 Cor. 16:13).
  • Pray that the Church in America will so noticeably live in Christ's peace that His peace comes into the councils of our nation. "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful" (Col. 3:15).
  • Pray for a movement of the Spirit that creates a dramatic cultural transformation in the United States, bringing about a nation that has learned to put its hope in the Word of God. "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will" (Rom. 12:2).
  • Ask the Lord to awaken the Church to the temporary nature of the nations and to the eternal nature of the reign of God. "But the wicked will perish: Though the Lord's enemies are like the flowers of the field, they will be consumed, they will go up in smoke" (Ps. 37:20).
  • Pray that courage born of wisdom will be given to Christians in places of leadership in government, the courts, and law schools across the nation so that they will stand for a godly basis for law. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go" (Josh. 1:9).
5. Media
  • Pray for truth to be an established standard in our news media. "In your majesty ride forth victoriously in the cause of truth, humility and justice; let your right hand achieve awesome deeds" (Ps. 45:4).
  • Pray that media bias will be replaced by fairness. "The King is mighty, he loves justice-you have established equity; in Jacob you have done what is just and right" (Ps. 99:4).
  • Ask that Christianity will receive fair coverage in all reports. "Have I not written thirty sayings for you, sayings of counsel and knowledge, teaching you to be honest and to speak the truth, so that you bring back truthful reports to those you serve?" (Prov. 22:20–21).
6. Spiritual Warfare
  • Ask for great awareness and discernment as we pray over the election. "Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is" (Eph. 5:15–17).
  • Pray for physical protection for all candidates and their families throughout this campaign season. "May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you" (Ps. 20:1).
  • Beseech the Lord for a strong hedge of protection around the nation itself during this time of decision. "May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you" (Ps. 33:22).
7. Revival
  • Pray for another Great Awakening to sweep the nation as the Lord's people learn to humble themselves with a contrite spirit, and to tremble at the Word of the Lord. "'Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being?' declares the Lord. 'These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word'" (Isa. 66:2).
  • Ask the Lord to bring revival to the Church in America. "Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before you! As when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil, come down to make your name known to your enemies and cause the nations to quake before you! For when you did awesome things that we did not expect, you came down, and the mountains trembled before you. Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him" (Isa. 64:1–4).
  • Pray for the preachers of America to fearlessly proclaim the Word of God regarding sin and God's love. "In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage-with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear" (2 Tim. 4:1–3).
